OUR STORY
Family-Owned and Operated Business
Bryce Canyon Kennel started almost 4 years ago with our first Weim Bell. I had always wanted a Weim – one of my best friends growing up had two and I fell in love with them. Once we had Bell, she stole our hearts. The one thing any Weim owner will tell you is once you have one, it won’t be long, and you will want another one. Our family has steadily grown and expanded into a family business with AKC Weimaraner’s and one AKC white Lab for my youngest son, Mason. We absolutely love spending time with our furry family. Our puppies are socialized to other dogs and people. Mason calls himself the puppy whisperer and loves nothing more than spending time with the puppies every day.
ABOUT WEIMARANERS
The American Kennel Club (AKC) describe weimaraners as a very athletic breed, while also being friendly, fearless, alert, and obedient. They are good with both children and other dogs with supervision. They do shed seasonally, though their coat is very short so it's not as noticeable. Since they are so eager to please they are accepting of training. Average height and weight are 25-27 inches and 70-90 pounds for males and females are 23-25 inches and 55-75 pounds.

They can make excellent companions, but due to their hunting heritage, they have a lot of energy and high prey drive. Novice owners and apartment dwellers should be cautious, as this dog needs consistent training and plenty of activity. Weims are intelligent, curious, and can have a little attitude. They thrive with consistent attention and can cause some trouble if they feel they aren't getting the attention they want or are left alone too long. All of that said, they will be your friend for life. They are extremely attentive and loyal.
